The international symposium Social world and pandemic, edited by Andre Bittencourt (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and Maurício Hoelz (Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), is a joint initiative of the journal Sociologia & Antropologia, the Brazilian Society of Sociology and the Social Thought Virtual Library Blog.
Sociologists from different institutions were invited to answer four questions regarding the social dimensions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The interviews are published on the blog in Portuguese and Spanish on Tuesdays and Thursdays, always with the answers of five sociologists. Here you can read the ones in English and French in the original language. This page will be continuosly updated with new interviews.
